The most striking quality of Silence Human Records’ proprietor Joe “Manta” Manalisay is his heart-felt commitment to the recording of music. Any style. He is all about the artist and what they’re looking for. Most musicians have had the experience of a studio that is much more interested in collecting cash than perfecting the sound of a CD. Not here. Joe tends to get into a session as much as the musicians themselves. With an A.S. degree in Recording Engineering and two decades in the industry, he has the knowledge to help artists reach their recording goals. Now he has a studio as well. He has transformed a large garage into a versatile, quality studio with a 24-track board, TC Electronics effects stack, and Digital Performer 4 software to forge the perfect sound - all while keeping costs at a minimum.

Is this a state-of-the-art million dollar studio? No. Will the finished product compete with these studios? Yes, and for a fraction of the cost. As Joe will tell you, “With today’s digital technology, there’s no need for a lot of the expensive equipment. If the tracks are recorded well, they can be manipulated any way you want, just with software and a computer.”

This thriftiness allows Silence Human to charge less than half the standard cost and offer their current deal of $100 per completed song (major bargain!).

Silence Human is absolutely perfect for demos, first-timers and anyone without a million dollar record deal. Located in Hurst, it may take an extra 10 or 15 minutes to get there, but it will be well worth it. Joe guarantees it. He is committed.
